EP51: Dr. Joan Rosenberg: Coming Back To Who You Truly Are

In today’s episode, I’m happy to introduce you to a truly extraordinary guest, Dr. Joan Rosenberg. Joan’s work around emotional intelligence and resilience is truly life-changing. As we acknowledge in the interview, her latest book 90 seconds To A Live You Love is about even more than that, it’s about connecting ourselves with who we truly are and allowing us to consciously know what we already know.

Dr. Rosenberg is a cutting-edge, California-licensed psychologist. She is a best-selling author, two time Tedx speaker has been featured in the documentaries “I Am”, “The Miracle Mindset”, “Pursuing Happiness” and “The Hidden Epidemic”. She’s been seen on CNN’s American Morning, and ABC, CBS, FOX, PBS and OWN networks.

Dr. Rosenberg speaks on how to build confidence, emotional strength, and resilience. She walks us through the “Rosenberg Reset” method and how to sit with the uncomfortable emotions to find awareness instead of avoidance as so many of us do. Dr. Rosenberg also shares some personal experiences from her childhood that included feeling rejected and left out, and how these moments have influenced and guided her to the work that she does now.

“Think, speak, and act, only in the direction that you wish to go.” (Click to tweet!)

~ Dr. Joan Rosenberg

This is an extremely important conversation at any time, and yet even more so now given what our world is currently facing. We are dealing with so many uncomfortable emotions, often many at the same time, and I truly believe that now is the time to face them and allow them to move through us instead of avoiding them or distracting ourselves from knowing what we know. To move out of the Waiting Room and into the next phase of life, this is the work.

This conversation left me with more ah-ha moments than I can count, I do hope you will take the time to listen and share with those you love. Please share your insights and everything you got out of this one of a kind conversation.

If you are needing support during this pandemic, I invite you to join my free Facebook Group that I have created for you. It is so important to me that we are ready to exit the Waiting Room when it’s time to re-enter our new lives on the other side of this.
